About Kalisha Crone

Welcome. I’m Kalisha Crone, a licensed clinical social worker deeply committed to supporting the mental health and wellness of communities of color and individuals seeking meaningful, lasting change. My personal and professional journey has taught me that healing happens in safe, affirming spaces—where your story is honored, your identity is respected, and your growth is nurtured.

In our work together, I use evidence-based approaches such as mindfulness, client-centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral techniques to help you navigate life’s challenges, overcome trauma, and build a more empowered version of yourself. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I create a space for reflection, growth, and transformation.

Healing is not a one-size-fits-all process. That’s why I tailor each session to your unique needs—offering warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for your lived experience. You don’t have to carry your pain alone. Through our work, you'll build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your healing journey, I invite you to schedule a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit. Your well-being matters, and you deserve to thrive.

My Education & Experience

An alumna of the University of Southern California and Columbia University School of Social Work, I am a passionate advocate of social and educational equality and a believer that all people deserve excellent mental health services.

As an Advanced Clinical Practice graduate student, I was trained in community and individual social work practices. I am experienced in providing psychoeducation in the group setting as well as group therapy.  I was formally trained as a School Counselor where I provided mental health counseling to elementary school students and their caregivers through parenting groups and individual counseling.

As a School Social Worker for a charter school organization, I provide direct services to children and connect families to community mental health agencies. My work in South L.A., East L.A., and Compton has had a powerful influence on the development of my clinical skills with varied cultural groups. Providing therapy to children and supporting their families and communities who are responding to trauma, both past and present, has also cultivated my ability to practice trauma-informed interventions.

Now as an individual therapist for private practice, I provide therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. My work as a therapist is fulfilling and inspiring as I am able to build therapeutic connections with wonderful people who are motivated to make the changes they wish to see in their lives. As an individual with a shared human experience, I understand the power of validation and the importance of finding new and healthy ways to respond to the obstacles we face.
